Zing Recruiting, in partnership with a leading manufacturing corporation, is seeking to hire a QC Inspectorto add to their dynamic team. This non-exempt position reports directly to the Quality Manager and plays a crucial role in verifying and validating the quality of our manufactured products. The Quality Inspector will perform inspections, audits, and quality testing throughout the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Location:Plant City, FL
Hourly Rate: $20.75per hour
Schedule: Morning Shift (starting at 6:00 AM) | Fast-Paced
Overtime: Mandatory OT depending on workload(6:00 AM to 4:30 PM schedule)
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform hands-on inspections using measurement and inspection methods to confirm quality requirements are met.
- Conduct Cut and Etch weldment testing, accurately document and report results.
- Perform process audits to verify adherence to manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Verify Critical to Quality (CTQ) checks are completed at the required frequency and properly documented.
- Identify, document, and report all nonconformances to the Quality Manager and Production Line Lead.
- Conduct yard audits as required per SPI.
- Assist Line Leads and Supervisors with quality-related issues and nonconformance resolution.
- Support secondary production lines as needed, assisting with inspections for additional manufacturing processes.
- Develop and maintain an understanding of manufacturing processes and quality requirements.
Desired Profile:- Education Level: 12th Grade
- Experience: 2 years or equivalent work knowledge of Quality Control in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of precise measuring equipment preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
- Ability to assist new employees with quality processes and procedures.
Physical Requirements:- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Capability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery and equipment.
- Candidates will be required to complete a tape measure test during the interview process to assess their measurement skills.
