Job Summary
We are seeking an experiencedSenior Specialist, Program Finance / Senior Program Financial Analystto support complex programs within the aerospace and defense industry.
This position is ideal for a finance professional with strong experience inEarned Value Management, COBRA, SAP, financial forecasting, EAC analysis, budgeting, variance analysis, and program controls.
The successful candidate will work closely with program leadership and cross-functional teams while managing the financial performance of multiple programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain Earned Value Management data integrity across multiple programs.
- UseCOBRA and SAPto support program financial reporting and analysis.
- Perform weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasting.
- Analyze financial performance, profitability, cash flow, and variances to plan.
- Create, maintain, and update projects within SAP.
- Ensure accuracy ofEstimate at Completion (EAC)data.
- Develop and maintain program baseline budgets.
- Prepare and review program variance reports.
- Support Control Account Managers with financial reporting and analysis.
- Prepare Integrated Program Management Report deliverables.
- Develop proposal cost estimates and pricing information.
- Support internal and external audits.
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis as required.
- Support risk management, cost estimating, procurement, change management, and program controls activities.
- Mentor junior team members when needed.
- Communicate financial results and program performance to leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering, Science, or a related analytical field.
- Minimum6 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or4 years with a graduate degree.
- Candidates without a degree must have at least10 years of related experience.
- Experience withCOBRA and SAP.
- Strong knowledge ofEarned Value Management (EVM)concepts and processes.
- Experience with financial forecasting and variance analysis.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularlyExcel.
- Experience with program budgeting, cost estimating, work breakdown structures, and financial management.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
- Must be able to obtain aU.S. Secret security clearanceif required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Aerospace or defense industry program finance experience.
- Strong Earned Value reporting background.
- Experience supporting government or defense programs.
- MBA or CPA.
- Experience managing financials for large or highly visible programs.
- Knowledge of government contracts and funding profiles.
- Experience withCPAF, CPFF, T&M, and FFPcontract structures.
- Familiarity withDFARS, ANSI/EIA-748, EVMIG, and NDIA guidance.
- PMP, EVMP, or similar certification.
- Leadership or mentoring experience.
