CNC LATHE MACHINIST / PROGRAMMER / SETUP

Fully air-conditioned CNC machine shop.

We are seeking an experienced CNC lathe machinist who can independently program, set up, and operate CNC lathes to produce precision parts from blueprint to finished product.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Program, set up, and operate Mazak CNC lathes using Mazatrol.

• Select tooling, fixtures, work offsets, speeds, and feeds.

• Read blueprints, tolerances, and GD requirements.

• Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and bore gauges.

• Troubleshoot programs, tooling, machine, and quality issues.

• Maintain setup, inspection, and production documentation.

• Maintain productivity, safety, and a clean work area.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 5 years of CNC lathe setup and programming experience.

• Strong knowledge of Mazatrol controls is required.

• Ability to take a part independently from blueprint to finished product.

• Strong knowledge of tooling, machining methods, speeds, and feeds.

• Excellent blueprint reading, shop math, and precision measuring skills.

• CAM programming experience preferred; CAD familiarity is helpful.

• Machine shop or manufacturing experience required.

JOB TYPE Full-time

PAY $30.00-$40.00 per hour - based on experience

HOURS 20-50 per week

LOCATION In person - Bridgeview, IL
