HiFyve is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer II in Southeast Georgia
We're looking for a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to support a high-precision CNC machining operation. This role is focused on how products are manufactureddeveloping and improving the processes, equipment, tooling and production methods needed to move precision-machined components successfully into production.
The facility operates a diverse CNC environment including Swiss-type machines, mills, lathes/turning centers, and 5-axis/multi-axis equipment.
Location: Southeast Georgia
Salary: $76,300–$90,000+
Schedule: Full-Time | On-Site
What You'll Do
- Develop and improve CNC machining and manufacturing processes
- Determine manufacturing methods, equipment, tooling and fixtures for production
- Partner with machinists, CNC programmers and operators to troubleshoot and optimize processes
- Support new product introduction and production launches
- Improve cycle time, workflow, equipment layout, process capability, quality and cost
- Review product designs and drawings for manufacturability
- Apply GD&T to machining and manufacturing requirements
- Develop and maintain process documentation and work instructions
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across safety, quality, delivery and productivity
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant manufacturing experience, master's degree with 2+ years, or equivalent education/experience
- Hands-on manufacturing engineering experience in a CNC machining, precision metalworking or metal-cutting environment
- Experience with CNC mills, lathes/turning, Swiss-type, 5-axis and/or multi-axis machining
- Strong knowledge of GD&T, tooling, fixtures and manufacturing process development
- Experience with SolidWorks
- Mastercam or similar CAM experience is highly desirable
- Experience supporting machinists, CNC programmers and production teams
- NPI/product launch experience is a plus
- Strong troubleshooting, project-management and continuous-improvement skills
