Industrial Equipment Mechanic

We are seeking a self-driven and self-motivated Industrial Equipment Mechanic to join our workshop team. The ideal candidate will primarily work on forestry industry equipment such as woodchippers, stump grinders, and small to medium-sized loaders. This role requires expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of industrial equipment in an independent work environment with a focus on safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical issues using computerized and manual diagnostic tools
• Perform mechanical repairs on forestry and industrial equipment
• Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime
• Replace worn or faulty parts efficiently and accurately
• Ensure compliance with safety standards during all tasks
• Perform quality inspections to confirm repairs and maintenance effectiveness
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions to identify root causes
• Document repairs, maintenance activities, and parts used
• Interact professionally with customers regarding equipment status and repairs
• Manage and maintain tools required for effective equipment maintenance

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in industrial equipment maintenance
