A Technician II has a basic understanding of laboratory operations. This person is self-motivated, can follow instructions and can complete routine assignments with minimal supervision.
This role is ideal for someone with 1–2 years of experience in the trucking, automotive, or mechanical industry, or for someone who is mechanically inclined and interested in working with heavy-duty vehicles.
The Test Technician will be responsible for installing and removing components from trucks and trailers, assisting with vehicle testing and evaluations, and working with engineering teams to complete assigned tasks. Experience with air brake systems is highly preferred.
The position involves working both indoors and outdoors, moving trucks and trailers as needed, and operating vehicles on and off the hoist.
A Class A CDL is required or must be obtained before transitioning into a Full-Time role, and candidates must be willing to obtain their CDL.
A typical day begins with arriving for work and participating in team meetings, followed by receiving assigned tasks. The technician will work closely with engineering to understand the testing plan and expectations, perform the required work on vehicles, and ensure all assigned tasks are completed safely, accurately, and efficiently.
