Driver (1st shift)

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF JOB:

Driver is responsible for transporting materials between company facilities and customers in a safe and timely manner. This role also supports general warehouse duties including forklift driving, loading/unloading, and packaging.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONISIBILITES:

• Understand paperwork and certifications.
• Knowledge of COD’s and necessary paperwork.
• Ability to read Thomas Guide map book.
• Operate a forklift safely.
• Insure truck is loaded safely.
• Date stamp incoming purchase orders and insure purchase orders are stapled to blueprints.
• Label all incoming hardware.
• Assist in packaging parts for shipping.
• Insure gages go with product.
• Follow vehicle safety checklist.
• Responsible for keeping vehicle clean.
• Adheres to safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

QULIFICATIONS:

• Good driving record.
• Ability to read maps.
• Forklift driver
• Knowledge of Southern California freeways.
• Ability to communicate, read, write, and understand English fluently.
