Medical Assistant (Float)

Job Summary

Our client is seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant (Float) to join their team. The position involves working in a Medicare Advantage Value Based Model, primarily serving the senior population. The Medical Assistant will play a key role in providing Value Based Care, which includes spending significant time with each patient to build strong relationships and support their healthcare needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patient intake, including measuring and recording vital signs and medical histories.
• Perform examinations, routine screenings, and phlebotomy.
• Engage with patients, report findings to the PCP, and process patient communication.
• Administer first aid procedures and health coaching.
• Provide CPR and support during emergencies.
• Assist with administrative work and quality measures.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Medical Assistant experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products.
• Experience with EClinicalWorks or similar EMR.
• Phlebotomy experience is highly desired.

Skills

• Adaptability and teamwork.
• Proficiency in phlebotomy and electronic medical records.
• Comfortable working with diverse populations.

Experience

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Experience working with elderly patients is preferred.

Additional Requirements

Availability Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Must be punctual and ready to participate in daily meetings at 8:00 AM. Must be willing to float to different clinics in the Tulsa area.
