JOB SUMMARY:

To properly count and place baked products into plastic packaging. Ensure proper sealing of the plastic, and proper count and orientation in trays or boxes.

Requirements:

Must be able to read (English) and do basic mathematics.

Must adhere to company rules of conduct and operating standards.

Must adhere to all GMP’s and Safety regulations.

Must be able to withstand working in a warm environment.

Skills:

Ability to stand and work on feet for long periods.

Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Ability to count and display manual dexterity.

Ability to keep up with the fast pace of production.

Ability to follow direction and maintain attention to detail.

Ability to effectively communicate with Supervision and other operators.

Job Duties:

Insert bagel balls into Uni-fillers and fill at a rate of 30 balls a minute

Insert bags into a heat sealer ensuring the proper closure of the bag.

Inserting Bagel Balls into Bags without smearing any cream cheese on bag.

Insert Bagel Ball bags into Boxes.

Stacking boxes on pallets according to the established configuration.

Maintain excellent housekeeping, including sweeping, wiping and dusting equipment and throwing out garbage.
