The Warehouse Associate supports daily warehouse operations by receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping products. This role ensures accuracy, organization, and compliance with food safety and operational standards to support efficient production and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Store products in designated areas following FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and food safety standards.
- Pick and pack orders accurately based on production and delivery schedules.
- Prepare shipments, including labeling, staging, and loading for delivery.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with cycle counts and audits.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
- Ensure warehouse cleanliness, organization, and compliance with GMP and HACCP standards.
- Communicate with production, culinary, and delivery teams to support workflow and resolve issues.
- Follow all safety procedures and report any hazards, damages, or discrepancies.
- Assist with other warehouse or operational duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous warehouse or distribution experience preferred.
- Experience in food production or cold storage environments is a plus.
- Basic understanding of inventory systems and warehouse processes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures (including refrigerated areas if applicable).
- Frequent bending, lifting, and reaching.
