Mechanical Design Engineer
Location: 203A Log Canoe Circle, Stevensville, MD 21666
Work Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday
Salary Range: $70,000 - $110,000/yr
Hydrasearch is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Stevensville, MD. In this role, you will support and improve engineered fluid-transfer components and mechanical hardware used in demanding commercial, aerospace and defense applications.
This is a hands-on engineering role that spans the product lifecyclefrom requirements and mechanical design through prototyping, manufacturing, assembly and continuous improvement. You will work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain and suppliers to develop practical, manufacturable solutions and help resolve production challenges. This role provides the opportunity to work directly with physical products throughout the design and manufacturing process. Industry-specific experience is helpful but not required.

What You'll Do:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
2-5 years of engineering experience; strong entry-level candidates with relevant internships, co-op experience or hands-on engineering projects will also be considered.
