What You'll Do
As a Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op, you will support a variety of engineering and manufacturing initiatives, including:
Engineering Project Support
- Lead efforts to review and update tolerancing on released assembly drawings using SolidWorks.
- Collaborate with Quality, Design Engineering, and Production teams to ensure engineering changes are fully vetted, documented, and compliant with customer requirements.
Process Improvement
- Support manufacturing technicians in identifying and implementing process improvements that enhance production efficiency, quality, and overall performance.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and problem-solving activities.
Data Analysis
- Collect, analyze, and interpret manufacturing and process data using Minitab, Microsoft Excel, and other analytical tools.
- Identify trends, investigate issues, and provide data-driven recommendations to support informed decision-making.
Documentation & Process Development
- Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, including:
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Work Instructions
- Process Flow Diagrams
- Process and Engineering Documentation
Equipment & Manufacturing Support
- Assist with the maintenance, calibration, and optimization of manufacturing equipment to ensure reliable operation and performance.
- Support ongoing production activities and engineering projects.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Manufacturing, Quality, Operations, Production, and R&D teams to support business objectives and improve manufacturing processes.
Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with company safety policies, procedures, and quality standards.
What You'll BringEducation
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in:
- Manufacturing Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering
- Industrial Engineering
- Or a related engineering discipline
Technical Skills
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and production environments.
- Experience with CAD software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis and data-driven problem-solving techniques.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.

- Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous co-op, internship, or project experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Experience working with ERP systems or manufacturing software.
- SolidWorks certification or advanced CAD experience is a plus.
