Pay Range: $60.00hr - $68.00hr
Job Overview:
The candidate will be responsible for managing electrical engineering projects, including feasibility studies, scope development, and technical drawing reviews. The role involves evaluating electrical power systems and ensuring compliance with safety codes while collaborating with various stakeholders and supervising contractors to ensure timely project completion.
Responsibilities:
- Investigate project feasibility, scope, schedule and budget.
- Create scope of work, bid package and project specifications.
- Review technical drawings, provide feedback, and negotiate changes.
- Evaluate electrical power systems.
- Evaluate electrical and safety compliance to local and national codes.
- Collaborate with third-party safety compliance contractors.
- Evaluate power distribution, breaker size, amp draw, SCCR, and panel loading.
- Specify and confirm electrical components for industrial equipment.
- Collaborate with multiple groups to design and install equipment and meet project milestones.
- Supervise contractors in a green-field or XX-field work environment.
- Coordinate installation with skilled trades, affiliate companies, engineers, and equipment manufacturers.
- Develop countermeasures for project delays for timely project completion.
Required Skills:
- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Technical Trader Certification, or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 3+ years of project management experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
- Experience in bid specification development and contractor negotiation.
- 2+ years of technical drawing experience.
- 2+ years of industrial power distribution and system design experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE).
- Project management experience within the organization.
- Automotive paint process experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Ability to understand and calculate utility costs.
- Understanding of PLC operation and programming (Toyopuc, Omron, Allen-Bradley).
- Understanding of PLC communication (FLNet, EtherNet).
- Understanding of OT/IT networking.
- Knowledge of NFPA 70E/77.
- OSHA 10/30 certification.
