HVAC Service Dispatcher
Are you the person who can keep technicians moving, customers informed, and a busy service department organized?
We are looking for a Service Dispatcher who enjoys solving problems, coordinating people, and keeping things on track.
What You'll Do
Coordinate the Day
- Receive, prioritize, and schedule service calls.
- Coordinate after-hours/on-call assignments.
- Keep service-call information accurate and up to date in Jonas Software.
Support Our Technicians
- Make sure technicians have the correct job information before heading to a call.
- Help technicians locate parts, information, and solutions when needed.
- Provide accurate job and PO numbers for proper billing, payroll, and documentation.
Handle Parts, Quotes & Purchase Orders
- Source parts and prepare accurate service and repair quotes.
- Create and maintain purchase orders in Jonas.
- Provide technicians with PO numbers and parts information.
Take Care of Our Customers
- Answer incoming service calls professionally.
- Keep customers informed about scheduling and the progress of their jobs.
Be Part of the Team
- Communicate closely with technicians, management, vendors, and customers.
- Provide backup support to other department administrative positions.
- Assist the Branch Operations Manager as needed.
- Look for ways to improve processes and make the service department more efficient.

- Can remain calm and professional when the phone is ringing, technicians need answers, and schedules suddenly change.
Experience with Jonas Software is a plus.
Previous experience in dispatching, service coordination, HVAC, plumbing, mechanical contracting, construction, facilities maintenance, or another field-service environment is preferred.
Most importantly, you understand that good dispatching is about both people and detailstaking care of the customer while giving technicians/team the support they need to succeed.
