What you’ll do
- Interpret and work from blueprints to fabricate, fit, and weld structural components.
- Cut materials, assemble parts, and tack weld to tight tolerances.
- Continuously inspect work to ensure quality and minimize distortion or defects.
Must-haves
- Proven structural steel experience.
- Ability to read blueprints and use standard fabrication/welding tools.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
Compensation
- Fitters: $22–$30/hr (DOE)
- Welders: $26–$32/hr (DOE)
Schedule options
- Day: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- Night: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM
