Job Description
A company in the Akron area is looking for a Business Analyst to join their team. This individual will lead the design, implementation, and adoption of a standardized sales process across the organization. The role will partner closely with sales leadership, marketing, compliance, operations, and technology teams to establish consistent CRM processes and maximize the value of Salesforce as the organization's system of record.
The ideal candidate combines strong business analysis skills with Salesforce expertise and experience documenting current-state processes, defining future-state workflows, gathering requirements, and driving user adoption. This person will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, helping transform Salesforce into the single source of truth for prospect and client activity.
Responsibilities
Sales Process Transformation
Define and document current and future-state workflows, ensuring prospective client activity progresses through a standardized lifecycle from Lead to Opportunity and beyond.
Partner with business leaders to create scalable, repeatable sales processes aligned with organizational goals.
Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to increase adoption, visibility, reporting accuracy, and efficiency.
Business Analysis & Requirements Gathering
Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and discovery sessions to gather business requirements.
Translate business needs into functional requirements, user stories, process maps, and acceptance criteria.
Document current and future-state workflows and business processes.
Collaborate with technical teams to ensure solutions align with business objectives.
Analytics, Reporting & KPI Development
Translate standardized sales methodologies into measurable dashboard requirements and user stories.
Define key performance indicators, including process compliance and sales pipeline effectiveness metrics.
Develop functional requirements for CRM tracking, reporting, and monitoring capabilities.
Support data quality initiatives and improve reporting accuracy across the business.
Testing & Implementation
Create and execute test plans and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
Validate system enhancements and process updates prior to deployment.
Assist with release planning, implementation activities, and post-launch support.
Compensation:
$30/hr to $35/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
