Job Description

The Inside Sales Representative plays a critical role in driving growth, increasing account penetration, and maximizing sales profitability in a fast-paced, quick sales cycle environment. In this role, you manage inbound and outbound calls and emails, complete orders, and provide high-quality service to customers, while closely collaborating with Sales, Purchasing, and Customer Service teams. You help build and maintain strong customer relationships, support aviation-related sales activities, and contribute to continuous process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Establish, develop, and maintain strong business relationships with current and prospective customers in the assigned territory or market segment to generate new business for the organization’s products and services.
• Manage a high volume of calls and emails, multitasking effectively while providing accurate product, price, and availability information to customers as requested.
• Review quote activity once familiar with target accounts and proactively initiate follow-ups to advance opportunities and close sales.
• Deliver excellent customer service by ensuring the timely, efficient, and accurate processing of inquiries, sales orders, expedite requests, and web shop inquiries.
• Collaborate closely with the Asset Management Team to confirm pricing accuracy and support achievement of cost and margin targets.
• Participate in process improvement activities to enhance sales effectiveness, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
• Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to overall team sales goals in a target-based environment.
• Perform accurate data entry and order processing, ensuring all customer and sales information is correctly recorded and maintained.
• Conduct outbound calls to existing clients, engaging them in meaningful conversations to identify new opportunities, upsell products, and strengthen relationships.
• Support inside sales operations by assisting with lead generation, inside sales support tasks, and coordination with other internal departments.
• Use CRM tools such as Salesforce and spreadsheets in Microsoft Excel to manage accounts, track activities, and report on sales performance.
• Perform all other related duties as assigned to support the sales function and overall business objectives.

Essential Skills

• 1–2 years of inside telesales or inside sales experience in a fast-paced, quick sales cycle environment.
• Demonstrated sales track record of overachievement against individual targets.
• Proven experience handling outbound calls and being comfortable making calls to existing clients.
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to manage inquiries, orders, and follow-ups professionally and efficiently.
• Hands-on experience with order processing, order entry, and data entry in a sales or call center environment.
• Ability to manage sales and customer interactions via phone and email, including cold calling and inside sales support.
• Proficiency using Microsoft Excel for tracking, reporting, and managing sales-related data.
• Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce to manage accounts, opportunities, and customer interactions.
• Solid skills in lead generation, account management, and inside sales operations.
• Associate degree or comparable industry experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in the aviation industry is a strong plus, particularly supporting airlines, MROs, OEMs, or distributors.
• Background in target-based environments with comfort working toward defined sales and performance goals.
• Experience in a call center or high-volume outbound calling environment.
• Knowledge of aviation parts, inventory, or related products is beneficial.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams across multiple regions.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including Sales, Purchasing, Customer Service, and Asset Management.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in processing orders, quotes, and customer information.
• Self-motivated, competitive mindset with the ability to thrive in a quick sales cycle and global business setting.

Work Environment

This is an on-site role in a professional office environment, working Monday through Friday on either an 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. schedule. You join a collaborative team of approximately 30 people, supporting a global aviation inventory business with service centers in multiple regions. The environment is fast-paced and target-driven, with frequent interaction via phone, email, and CRM tools such as Salesforce, as well as regular use of Microsoft Excel for data management. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Doral, FL.

The pay range for this position is $24.04 - $24.04/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
