Qualifications:
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Experience or strong interest in working with K-12 students across a variety of backgrounds
- Valid MI School Psychologist license preferred; out-of-state applicants must secure appropriate credentialing by start date
- Proficiency in assessment, intervention, counseling, and consultation for a broad range of student needs
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaborative skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations to guide educational planning
- Deliver direct counseling and intervention services to students individually and in groups
- Participate in IEP meetings, collaborating with teachers, administrators, and families
- Consult with school teams on academic, behavioral, and social-emotional interventions
- Support crisis response and help develop positive behavior support strategies
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date records and comply with all regulatory guidelines
