About the Role: PT Transportation LLC is looking for a dedicated and experienced OTR CDL Driver to join our growing team out of Pavo, GA. Responsibilities:- Operate a commercial motor vehicle (CMV) for long-haul, over-the-road (OTR) routes across multiple states
- Ensure safe and timely delivery of freight to customers and distribution centers
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections in compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and Hours of Service (HOS) logs
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding route updates, delays, or issues
- Secure and verify loads to ensure cargo integrity throughout transit
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic and transportation laws
Requirements:- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL-A) required
- Minimum 1-2 years of verifiable OTR driving experience preferred
- Clean MVR and satisfactory driving record
- Must meet DOT physical and medical certification requirements
- Familiarity with ELD systems and Hours of Service (HOS) regulations
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently on the road
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and professional demeanor
