Shop Manager Candidate
Location: Melrose Park, IL (On-Site)

Salary: $85,000 – $90,000 per year
Reports To: Owners
About the RoleWe're looking for an experienced, self-starting Shop Manager Candidate to learn every part of our operation and step into a Shop Manager role. You'll work closely with current leadership, take ownership of tasks without waiting to be asked, and help keep the shop running smoothly, profitably, and safely.
Responsibilities- Take initiative to identify problems, improve processes and get work done with minimal supervision
- Support and oversee daily shop operations, including scheduling, workflow, and quality control
- Supervise, coach, and help train team members
- Track inventory, place supplier orders, and receive deliveries
- Enforce safety procedures and keep the shop clean and organized
- Manage budgets, labor hours, and key performance metrics
- Open and close the shop as scheduled
QualificationsRequired
- 3–5 years of experience in a shop, warehouse or similar environment
- Proven self-starter who is motivated, dependable and works well independently
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic math and computer skills
- Ability to lift [50] lbs and stand for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to Melrose Park
Preferred
- Prior supervisory or lead experience
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Compensation & Benefits- Salary: $85,000 – $90,000 per year, depending on experience
