Position Overview
We are seeking a Tax Manager to join our team on a partner-track path. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who is passionate about producing high-quality work, delivering excellent client service, and contributing to the leadership and growth of the firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the highest standards of technical quality and attention to detail
- Manage and develop client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor
- Provide timely, responsive, and proactive client service
- Work proactively with clients on tax planning strategies
- Review individual and business tax returns for accuracy and compliance
- Mentor and guide staff to maintain quality and consistency in deliverables
- Participate in firm management, strategic planning, and decision-making
- Continuously improve processes and support a culture of excellence
Qualifications
- CPA license required
- At minimum 8-10 years public accounting experience
- Experience with Thomson Reuters suite is preferred, though not required
- Strong experience reviewing individual and business tax returns
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality client service
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and embrace new ideas and processes
- Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
