Were working with a well-established MEP contractor that is looking to add a Project Manager to their Phoenix team.
This is a great fit for someone who has a few solid years of mechanical construction experience and is ready to take on more ownership of projects from preconstruction and buyout through closeout.
The role:
- Manage commercial mechanical projects from start to finish
- Own project budgets, schedules, billing, and cost tracking
- Handle subcontractor and equipment buyout
- Coordinate with GCs, customers, vendors, trades, and internal teams
- Lead pre-job planning and keep project schedules moving
- Visit jobsites to monitor progress, resolve issues, and coordinate with the field
- Manage change orders, scope changes, and project documentation
- Help identify ways to improve project processes and execution
What they’re looking for:
- 2–5 years of mechanical construction / project management experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Science, or related field
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Comfortable working with project budgets, schedules, and financials
- Proactive, self-motivated approach to problem solving
- Construction project management software experience is a plus
