Molding Operator I

Pay Rate: $19.04 per hour
Shift: 3rd Shift/Nights
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10–12-hour shifts, with every other weekend coverage on Friday and Saturday

We are seeking dependable and hardworking candidates for a Molding Operator I position. The Molding Operator I operates and maintains injection-molding presses while ensuring that products meet quality and production requirements.

This is an entry-level opportunity. The ideal candidate is willing to learn, follows established procedures, and can perform routine production tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Typical Duties
  • Operate and maintain injection-molding presses.
  • Visually inspect molded products to ensure they meet requirements outlined in the Quality Inspection Plan (QIP) and mold book.
  • Package completed products according to the packing process sheet.
  • Complete required paperwork, including production, scrap, downtime, equipment issues, problems, and labor reporting.
  • Perform weight counting, fill totes, and label products to ensure count accuracy.
  • Move products from one process to the next.
  • Load and unload components into and out of molds, depending on machine automation.
  • Follow established procedures to complete assigned tasks.
  • Follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Entry-level position; little to no prior manufacturing experience required.
  • Willingness to learn company policies, procedures, and job responsibilities.
  • Ability to follow established procedures and work instructions.
  • Ability to perform routine tasks consistently and accurately.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work 10–12-hour overnight shifts.
  • Availability to work Monday through Friday and every other weekend on Friday and Saturday as required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
