Position: Production Engineer Specialist
Pay: $40.00/hour (Contract)
Shift: Second shift
Location: Guntown, MS

Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced engineering support for daily manufacturing operations and production needs.
- Lead pre-production activities, model changes, and start-up trials for new production.
- Analyze manufacturing processes to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing practices.
- Develop and implement process controls, standardized work, and manufacturing systems.
- Evaluate production layouts, equipment, tooling, and material flow for improvements.
- Support equipment, facility, and engineering needs related to production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer requirements.
- Assist in evaluating manufacturing feasibility for new business opportunities.
- Manage engineering changes, process improvements, and new technology implementation.
- Review production data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Maintain detailed engineering documentation and procedures.
- Work with departments and suppliers to resolve technical issues.
- Support root-cause analysis and problem-solving activities.
- Ensure all engineering activities uphold high-quality standards and customer satisfaction.
- Offer technical guidance to production and other departments.
- Participate in special projects and engineering initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
- At least 1 year of manufacturing or engineering experience.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze and improve manufacturing processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
