Production Shift Lead - Nights

Salary:$27.38/hour + $2.50 night shift premium

Your part in our story:
The Production Shift Lead acts as backup to the Production Supervisor. Together with the Production Supervisor, the Production Shift Lead is responsible for training all production and injection molding staff and overseeing day-to-day production activities. You will be responsible for maintaining a safe work group that is focused on quality, customer service, people development, and producing products at the lowest possible cost.
- Assist the Production Supervisor in leading a team of 6-8 production personnel.
- Through leadership that promotes putting people first, operating honestly, ethically, and promoting/advancing a strong team-oriented environment
- Fostering an inclusive and supportive environment through a feedback-driven workplace where every employee feels heard, valued, and empowered.
- Driving safety compliance for all employees by setting and enforcing safety guidelines
(a company safety champion).
- Provides hands-on safety training for all Production staff.
- Together with the Production Supervisor, He/she will lead, motivate, and delegate personnel in the Production area of responsibility.
- This position requires a minimum of 95% of time on the production floor, developing and supporting employees. As well as hands-on setup, training, and troubleshooting of all the packaging and production equipment.
- Execute a multitude of packaging & food safety Quality Checks and document appropriately into the Food Safety and Quality Assurance software used by Premium Waters.
