Machine Card Operator

Location: Lyons, MI – Onsite
Schedule: 6:00 AM start; flexibility required

We are hiring a Machine Card Operator to operate computerized equipment used to produce, encode, emboss, insert, and prepare plastic identification cards for mailing.

Responsibilities:

• Operate card embossing, encoding, and inserting equipment.
• Produce plastic ID cards according to established quality standards.
• Perform routine equipment checks and basic maintenance.
• Complete production logs and quality checks.
• Process special and manual ID card requests.
• Insert documents and prepare materials for mailing.
• Follow written and verbal instructions and production procedures.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Previous machine operator experience in a production environment.
• Experience using Windows-based computer applications.
• Strong communication and basic math skills.
• Ability to work a 6:00 AM start time.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts as needed.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, and occasionally lift up to 10 lbs.

Training will be provided on the operation and maintenance of plastic card/embosser equipment.
