Night Quality Control Inspector

Starting Pay: $16.50/hour
Schedule: Monday–Thursday | 4:00 PM until completion
Location: Salem, VA

Layman Distributing is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Night Quality Control Inspector to join our warehouse team. This is an important role in our operationyou’ll be the final set of eyes on customer orders before they leave our facility.

What You’ll Do

  • Inspect picked orders to make sure products and quantities are correct before shipment
  • Catch and correct errors before orders leave the warehouse
  • Identify and report discrepancies or quality concerns
  • Work closely with warehouse pickers and supervisors to resolve issues quickly
  • Keep up with nightly production while maintaining a high level of accuracy
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Dependable attendance and a solid work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and stay focused throughout the shift
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs
  • Previous warehouse or quality control experience is helpful, but not requiredwe’ll train the right person
