Housekeeper

Join our team at Excel Care Newark, a premier rehabilitation and healing center, where we provide exceptional care and comfort to our residents and staff. We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Aide to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for everyone in our care.

As a Housekeeping Aide, you will be responsible for cleaning resident rooms, common areas, and facility spaces while following infection control and safety standards. You will work independently and as part of a team to ensure that our facility remains clean, tidy, and comfortable for everyone. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has strong attention to detail, and is committed to creating a comfortable environment for everyone in our care.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas daily

• Empty trash and replace liners throughout the facility

• Collect and take out trash to designated disposal areas

• Dust, mop, vacuum, and disinfect surfaces and high-touch areas

• Replenish paper products and cleaning supplies as needed

• Respond courteously to resident and staff requests

• Assist with room turnovers and deep cleaning as assigned

Qualifications:

• Previous housekeeping experience preferred, but not required

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong attention to detail and time management
