About the Role

As a Personal Care Assistant (PCA), you'll provide hands-on support to participants in our Day Center, helping them live safely, comfortably, and with dignity. You'll build meaningful relationships while assisting with daily activities and creating a welcoming environment where participants can thrive.

In This Role, You Will:

• Assist participants with daily living activities, including grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility, and meals.

• Support safe arrivals, departures, and transfers.

• Assist with participant care during transportation and medical appointments.

• Observe and report changes in participant health or well-being.

• Encourage engagement through group and individual activities.

• Help maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment.

• Follow infection control and safety protocols.

• Complete documentation accurately and timely.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking someone who is:

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable.

• Passionate about serving older adults.

• Comfortable assisting with mobility and transfers.

• A team player who communicates effectively with participants, families, and coworkers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• PCA or CNA certification preferred.

• At least one year of experience working with elderly or frail individuals preferred.

• Current immunizations and medical clearance required prior to participant contact.
