Welder

We are seeking a Welder Fabricator to become an integral part of our team!

What: Mig Tig Welder

Where: Bonham, TX

Shift: Monday- Friday, 8am-4:30

Full-time job

Perform a wide range of welding including MIG/ARC welding. Familiar with cutting pipe, building jigs, and prepping materials. Works from sales orders and/or verbal instructions in locating material and processing. Activities primarily consist of welding standard size gate frames, along with other miscellaneous welding as necessary.

Qualifications

• 2-3 yrs. welding experience with MIG, ARC welding
• Able to lift/move heavy materials (up to 75lbs)
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math functions
• Proficient in blueprint reading and execution from a plan
• Ability to perform own layouts using jigs
• Ability to work around heat and chemicals
• Must be able to work overtime as needed
• Multiple years of steel experience required, and can set up machines themselves
• Some aluminum experience preferred, but must at least show proficiency in a weld test
• Understands more complex blueprints, and can interpret welding symbols
• Confident they’re able to pass D1.1 and D1.2 certification tests within the first 90 days of employment
• Measurement reading down to 1/32” and can do the relevant math
