What You’ll Tackle
- Operate and continuously monitor DDC and EMCS platforms to deliver reliable, energy-efficient performance across the facility.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on controls and related equipment.
- Analyze system data and trends to spot anomalies, optimize sequences, and recommend improvements.
- Respond rapidly to alarms and alerts, troubleshooting issues to resolution.
- Partner with facility management and engineering to implement energy-saving projects.
- Maintain detailed records of performance, maintenance actions, and energy usage.
- Help train new team members on operations, safety, and control system best practices.
- Stay current on emerging building automation and energy management technologies.
What You Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree/certification in HVAC, electrical, or a related discipline preferred.
- Hands-on experience with DDC and EMCS in commercial or industrial environments.
- Strong grasp of HVAC fundamentals and energy management principles.
- Sharp troubleshooting skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively across teams.
- Clear, effective communicationwritten and verbal.
- Flexibility to support operations during nights and weekends as needed.
- Union membership or willingness to join the union is required.
