Configuration Manager / Drafter / Designer

Job Title: Configuration Manager / Drafter / Designer Location: Lynnwood, WA (onsite) Type: Contract Compensation: $69.83/HR on W2 Security Clearance: Secret security clearance is required. Must be US Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Create, update, and manipulate 3-D solid models using Solid Edge CAD software under the guidance of a senior engineer.
• Prepare formal engineering drawings from 3-D models, existing drawings, physical parts, photographs, sketches, and prototypes using standard templates.
• Develop drawings for mechanical parts, electrical cables and connectors, and electrical circuit card assemblies.
• Apply knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) to drawings and models.
• Ensure configuration management practices are followed for technical models, drawings, and documents.
• Maintain and update technical documentation ensuring accuracy and compliance with project standards.

• Minimum of 3-5 years experience in Solid Edge CAD design and drafting.
• Experience manipulating solid models and preparing 2-D drawings from models.
• Demonstrated skills in configuration management for technical models, drawings, and documents.
• Knowledge of GD&T principles.
• Ability to create and update detailed engineering drawings from a variety of sources.
• Must be a US Citizen with active Final SECRET security clearance.
