Self-Storage and Moving Manager
Reports directly to the President
Schedule: Friday 8 A.M. to 6 P. M. Saturday and Sunday 9 A.M to 6 P.M. Monday 8am to 6pm (other days may be available)
Job duties to include, but are not limited to.
- Greeting customers
It is imperative to provide polite and positive customer service. Our customers do have a choice on where to store their goods and we have found that when providing only the best customer service, customers will pick Heirloom Storage
Penske Truck leasing and Heirloom Storage
- Aggressively leasing self-storage units, parking spaces and renting Penske trucks, utilizing the provided and authorized discounts and/or programs. All programs will be provided by management. Leasing self- storage and or Boat/RV storage includes showing customers the different options we have available within our facilities.
- Assist in janitorial work. There is a restroom in storage area, one in retail area and one in the House of Daniels Inc office. Retail area must be kept clean at all times. Duties include, vacuuming, dusting, window washing. Our retail area is where first impressions are made. Everything must be kept neat and clean
- Storage areas are to be kept clean at all times. Storage hallways, entrances and exits must be kept clean at all times.
- Heirloom Storage sits on a large site, other maintenance required to be performed include, but are not limited to:
a) Weeding and other landscape maintenance
b) Sweeping/blowing off boat/RV covered areas
c) Watering plants
- Collection of past due accounts. Maintain a current status for all accounts, with the use of phone calls, letters and other provided resources.
- Maintain inventory
Count inventory on the last day of each month and compare to inventory in computer. Report all discrepancies and suggest order to replenish.
- Marketing
Assist in the creation of signage to be used around the facility and in the retail office.
- Operate software: Sitelink, Storlogic and Penske Truck rental.
