Cut/Sand Associate - 2nd shift

Location: Springfield, Ohio
Pay: $17.25 per hour

Shift: 2nd Shift

• 4:00 PM–2:30 AM

Position Summary

We are seeking a dependable Cut/Sand Operator to work in a manufacturing facility specializing in fiberglass conduit and bridge drainage systems. This position is responsible for cutting and sanding conduit while ensuring finished products meet established quality standards.

Job Duties

• Cut fiberglass conduit to the required length
• Sand the spigot end of conduit to properly fit the bell end
• Perform quality checks on completed work
• Operate production machinery as required
• Handle conduit and materials throughout the production process
• Follow established production and safety procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience
• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to lift an average of 50 lbs.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting
• Comfortable working around dust and odors
• Must be comfortable working in hot conditions during summer months
• Steel-toed boots required
