Radiologic Technologist
Location: Canton, GA 30115
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day | 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
Schedule: Monday–Friday; may float to Midtown and Sandy Springs locations
Traveler Candidates: Required
Pay Rate:
Traveler: $45–$50/hr, based on experience
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of recent Radiologic Technologist experience Required
- Current ARRT certification Required
- BLS certification Required
- Strong knowledge of radiographic procedures and positioning
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety and patient-safety practices
- Ability to work independently in an outpatient orthopedic setting
- Must be willing to float between Canton, Midtown, and Sandy Springs
- Must be available to meet required holiday scheduling needs
Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations according to established protocols
- Obtain high-quality diagnostic images while ensuring proper patient positioning and comfort
- Follow radiation safety procedures and applicable regulatory standards
- Prepare and educate patients regarding imaging procedures
- Maintain accurate patient and imaging documentation
- Collaborate with physicians, orthopedic specialists, and clinical staff
- Maintain imaging equipment and report equipment issues as needed
- Follow facility policies, infection-control procedures, and patient-safety standards
- Float to Midtown and Sandy Springs locations as required
- Provide efficient and patient-centered radiology services
