In this role, you'll play a critical part in creating a world-classclaimsexperience by managing first and third partybodilyinjuryclaimsand their associatedphysicaldamage.

We’re a distributed team across Columbus, OH, New York, Atlanta, GA, and Chile.This role is a hybrid position going into the Atlanta office (Buckhead).

What you’ll do:

• Analyze coverage based on the facts of the loss
• Make informed liability decisions, including the consideration of comparative negligence
• Collaborate withclaimsleadership on severity losses, reserve adjustments andclaimevaluations
• Evaluate settlement demands
• Negotiate settlements with first and third partyclaimants as well asattorneys
• Utilize data available to drive focus onclaimtrends
• Handle special projects or additional duties assigned related to your role as an individual contributor of theclaimsorganization

About you:

• 5+ years of experience inautoclaimadjudication, with at least 1 years handlinginjuryseverity losses.
• Has experience handlingclaimsup to $250k FDV
• Active adjusters license inhomeor designatedhomestate
• New York licensing required within first 3 months of employment
• Consistently exceeds targets including, but not limited to, cycle time andrecoveryrates
• Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to lead negotiations
• Bias-to-action - you’re not afraid to get your hands dirty and stretch yourself

• Customer centric working style
• Strong collaborator with team members based across the country and the world
• Successfully able to work in high-growth & ambiguous start-up environments
• College degree or minimum of 10-years ofclaimsexperience

• 3+ years ofcommercialautoand/or transportationclaimhandling experience.
• TPAmanagement or auditing experience.
• Litigationmanagement experience.
• Independent adjuster licenses in New York.
• Prior Insurtech or early-stage startup experience.
