General Laborer
Location: Conroe, TX
Pay: $19.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Saturday, 5–6 days per week, 10-hour shifts
Duration: Approximately 2 weeks, with potential for additional work
Position Overview
We are seeking General Laborers to assist with the construction and infrastructure development of a new facility in Conroe, TX. The facility is not yet operational, and this position will involve outdoor construction support and general labor duties to help prepare the site.
Responsibilities
- Dig trenches and assist with site preparation
- Spread and move gravel and other materials
- Assist with installing sleeves and other site infrastructure
- Perform general construction and labor duties as directed
- Load, unload, move, and organize materials and equipment
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Assist skilled workers and other crew members as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and supervisor instructions
Requirements
- Previous construction or general labor experience preferred
- Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to lift, carry, bend, kneel, dig, and stand for extended periods
- Must have and wear long sleeves, hard hat, and steel-toe boots
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
- Ability to work 10-hour shifts, 5–6 days per week
Work Environment
- 100% outdoor work
- Physically demanding construction environment
- Work will take place at a new facility that is currently under development and not yet operational
Schedule & Duration
Monday through Saturday, with 5–6 ten-hour shifts per week depending on project needs. The initial assignment is expected to last approximately 2 weeks, with the possibility of additional work opportunities as the project progresses and other work becomes available.
Pay: $19.00/hour
