We are currently seeking candidates for
2nd SHIFT SORTING
at aST MARYS, OHmanufacturing company.
Summary:
Thisposition is responsible forvisually checking parts for quality defects.This position requiresthe use of pallet jacks to movecompleted skids to the proper designated location.Associates will have to move the tub of parts from the skid to the sorting table and then back to a skid after parts are sorted.There isfrequentstanding,bending, twisting,turning,andliftingupto 30lbs.The hours and physical demand may vary.
Responsibilities:
- Perform all duties in a safe manner in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.
- May use pin gauges.
- Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Company and OSHA standards.
- Complete all paperwork and/or electronic updates as required.
- Professional interaction with internal and external customers.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by performing and communicating in a manner that promotes good relationships with customers, clients, co-workers, and management.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Ability to perform physical requirements of the job (including standing,bending, twisting, turning, pushing, pulling and lifting).
- Mustbe able toidentifydefective parts.
- You mustuseproper PPE to safely perform the task.
- Ability to work overtime, weekends, and/or holidays.
- Good written and verbal communication skills to be able to communicate effectively and professionally with internal and external customers.
- Familiarity with using a computer.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Legally eligible to work in the United States.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must successfully complete pre-employment testing.
- Must be able to read and speak the English language well enough to communicate, understand, and respond to questions, directions, signals, and safety training.
Working Conditions:
- Exposure to noise, partial climate-controlledroom, oils and chemicals.

- $16.50/hour
