Overview

Job Title: Onsite Field Service Technician
Location: Dallas, TX
Job Type: Hourly Consultant
Hours: 8 am to 5 pm, M-F
Pay: $22/hr

Essential Functions:

• Provide onsite technical support, dispatch assistance, and escalations for customer printer equipment.

• Install, diagnose, repair, and maintain printers and hard-copy/imaging equipment.

• Respond to service requests within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

• Perform Standard and Proactive Consumable Management (PCM) system updates.

• Track assets, manage reporting and billing, and maintain system records.

• Manage hot-swap equipment and supply inventory to minimize customer downtime.

• Provide professional customer service and resolve technical issues efficiently.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of electro-mechanical systems.

• Working knowledge of printers, hard-copy devices, or imaging equipment.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.

• Experience with service ticketing systems such as ServiceNow and D365.

• Strong written and verbal communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to lift and maneuver equipment weighing up to 60 lbs.

• Positive, solutions-oriented approach.

Experience:

• Entry-level experience supporting printers, imaging equipment, or related technology.

• Experience providing onsite technical or customer support preferred.

Education:

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Technical training or certification is a plus.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
