Quality Assurance Inspector Level IV position with a strong emphasis on CMM/PC-DMIS programming, GD&T, precision inspection, and machine-shop quality
Must-Have Experience
- 6+ years of quality inspection experience, preferably in a plastic or metallic machine-shop environment.
- Strong GD&T knowledge and practical application.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints/drawings.
- Advanced experience operating/programming:
- CMM
- PC-DMIS
- Keyence
- Romer Arm
- Experience with manual inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and comparators.
- Experience performing receiving, in-process, first article, and final inspections.
- Experience creating FAIRs (First Article Inspection Reports) and dimensional inspection reports.
- Experience with SPC/WIP inspection and auditing production jobs.
- Strong understanding of ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 quality standards.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong computer skills, particularly JobBOSS, DocuWare, PC-DMIS, and Microsoft Office.
Strong Plus
- Lead Auditor/Internal Audit experience.
- MBD (Model-Based Definition) inspection experience.
- Lean Manufacturing experience.
- Experience training production employees on inspection and quality techniques.
- Experience with customer complaints, rejection reports, source inspections, and corrective quality activities.
- Experience in a CNC/machine-shop manufacturing environment.
