Retail Sales Associate – Seasonal Shop-in-Shop
Location:Buckhead, Atlanta, GA
Schedule:Approximately 40 hours, 5 days/week
Duration:Late October/Early November through mid-December, with potential for a long-term opportunity
About the Role
Our client, a contemporary women’s fashion retailer in Buckhead, is looking for an experienced and outgoing Retail Sales Associate to support a seasonal shop-in-shop featuring one of their top-selling designer brands.
This person will be the consistent presence within the dedicated 700–800 square foot space, providing a high-touch customer experience while keeping the shop organized, styled, stocked, and running smoothly throughout the day. While primarily dedicated to the shop-in-shop, you’ll be part of the larger store team and should be comfortable supporting customers throughout the store when needed.
The ideal candidate will also have social media experience and be comfortable capturing organic, on-brand content from the sales floor, including product, styling, and in-store moments.
The initial opportunity will run approximately 6–7 weeks through the holiday season, with the potential to transition into a longer-term position for the right person.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the primary Sales Associate for the shop-in-shop, creating a welcoming and elevated customer experience
- Build strong knowledge of the featured collection and confidently speak to product, fit, styling, and new arrivals
- Assist customers with styling, fitting rooms, product recommendations, and purchases
- Process customer transactions through the store’s POS system
- Maintain the space throughout the day, including straightening racks, refolding merchandise, returningproductfrom fitting rooms, and keeping the floor customer-ready
- Support visual merchandising, product placement, and mannequin updates
- Monitor inventory and communicate replenishment needs to the store team
- Assist with weekly restocking and ensure product is appropriately represented on the sales floor
- Capture photos, short-form video, and other organic social media content highlighting new arrivals, product, styling, and the in-store experience
- Support the broader sales floor and customer experience as needed
- Take initiative throughout the day and identify what needs to be done without waiting for direction
What We’re Looking For
- Previous retail sales experience, ideally within contemporary women’s fashion, luxury, or specialty retail
- Previous social media or content creation experience, with a strong understanding of Instagram and short-form video content
- Comfortable capturing polished, engaging photo and video content on a phone
- Confident, polished, and genuinely comfortable connecting with customers
- Strong interest in fashion with an eye for styling, merchandising, and visual presentation
- Self-starter who can take ownership of a dedicated space while working closely with the larger store team
- Strong attention to detail and pride in keeping a retail environment organized and visually elevated
- Comfortable learning product quickly and becoming a go-to resource for customers
- Comfortable with POS systems and day-to-day retail operations
- Reliable and flexible, with availability during the busy holiday season, including weekends
- Team-oriented and willing tojump inwherever needed
Additional Details
The shop-in-shop will operate within an existing contemporary women’s retail store and will have its own dedicated assortment and POS. You’ll work alongside an established store team, so while you’ll have ownership of the dedicated space, you won’t be working independently within the store.
