Snelling is currently recruiting for aBaggage Handler/General Laborerin the Birmingham area. Must be available for day and night shifts and weekends (See schedule below). The starting pay rate is $15.00/hr!
Work Schedule for Baggage Handler:
Wednesday-Sunday, 3:30 am-12:00 pm
Job Duties for Baggage Handler:
- Assists with clearing system jams of bags and shift inspections of conveyor systems.
- Assists diagnose equipment failures under the guidance of senior personnel; ensures equipment is running safely.
- Read and interpret repair manuals, basic schematics and supervisor/manager's instructions.
- Assists Technicians with basic maintenance such as sweeping, cleaning and greasing.
- Perform additional duties/assignments that may be required by management
Job Requirements for Baggage Handler:
- Need to be able to work with minimum supervision
- Needto be comfortable standing, stooping, bending andlifting upto 100 lbs.
- Need to have a flexible schedule
- Requires a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
