Job Description Title:Temporary Golf Cart Valets - Event Support

Reporting to:Riverbend Centre Director

Hours per week: As Needed and assigned

FLSA:Non-Exempt (paid hourly plus tips)

Date:April 2026

Purpose:Riverbend Church & Centre is seeking friendly and reliable temporary golf cart/valet drivers to assist during large events, including concerts, weddings, memorials, and conferences.

Drivers will help transport guests safely across campus, provide directional assistance, and create a welcoming first impression for all who attend.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performing valet duties in pickup and drop off areas including greeting and interacting with guests, removing needed personal mobility devises from cars and providing information, directions and assistance.
  • Providing excellent customer service and hospitality.
  • Safely operating golf carts to transport guests to/from parking lots to venues on the campus.
  • Assisting with guest arrival and departure flow.
  • Supporting event teams as needed with arrival and departure traffic flow and placing and collecting event parking signage
  • Ensuring golf carts are clean, operating properly, and equipped with necessary supplies such as paper/cloth towels.
  • Reporting any repair or cleanliness problems to the event manager

Physical requirements: Able to lift up to 50 lbs., lift overhead, push/pull, move lighter objects, and be eexposed to wet, humid, extreme cold, and extreme heat conditions.

Other Requirements

  • Must satisfactorily pass a criminal history and Motor Vehicle background check
  • Friendly, professional demeanor
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Possess a clean, neat appearance and dress in provided Riverbend branded shirts with khaki pants/shorts and clean footwear (No Open Toe)

Compensation

  • Hourly rate plus tips
