Job Description:
Our client is seeking a hands-on HR & Office Manager to oversee core human resources functions while supporting day-to-day office operations. This position will partner closely with leadership, manage employee-related needs, support recruiting and compliance, and ensure the office operates efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources
- Manage daily HR functions including recruiting, onboarding, payroll, benefits, employee relations, compliance, and HR reporting.
- Partner with leadership on staffing plans, organizational changes, and employee needs.
- Coordinate recruiting efforts and support employee engagement, development, and retention.
- Track workforce data, HR metrics, and costs to support business decisions.
- Maintain compliance with applicable U.S. employment regulations and company policies.
- Participate in broader HR initiatives and process improvement projects.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR efficiency and streamline processes.
- Serve as a resource and advisor to employees, managers, and leadership.
Office Administration
- Oversee daily office operations, supplies, equipment, vendors, and facilities.
- Coordinate maintenance, safety, scheduling, communications, and recordkeeping.
- Assist with meetings, company events, and training activities.
- Arrange business travel and provide general administrative support.
- Help maintain a professional, organized, and welcoming office environment.
- Support additional administrative and back-office needs as required.
Qualifications:
- 3–5 years of progressive HR experience in an HR Generalist, HR Manager, HRBP, or similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- Manufacturing, wholesale, or distribution experience strongly preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Experience working with ERP and/or CRM systems.
- Hands-on, self-motivated approach with the ability to quickly take ownership of HR responsibilities.
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
- Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus.
- Accounting or finance experience is a plus.
