A growing healthcare practice is seeking an (IN PERSON) NP who is motivated, compassionate, and dependable Nurse Practitioner to join our team full-time. We are looking for a provider who is passionate about patient care, enjoys building long-term relationships with patients, and is excited to grow alongside a rapidly expanding organization.
This position is open to Family Nurse Practitioners (FNP), Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNP), Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioners (AGNP), or other appropriately licensed Nurse Practitioners.
Applicants must either have experience treating mental health and/or addiction patients, be comfortable working with these populations, or hold PMHNP certification.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations and follow-up visits
- Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic medical and psychiatric conditions
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Prescribe medications in accordance with state and federal regulations
- Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing
- Provide patient education and counseling
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic health record
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to ensure high-quality patient care
- Participate in quality improvement and practice growth initiatives
- Maintain compliance with all applicable healthcare regulations and standards
Patient Population
Our practice serves a diverse patient population and offers services that may include:
- Mental health treatment
- Addiction treatment and recovery support
- Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT)
- Primary care services
- Chronic disease management
- Preventive care and wellness services
Qualifications Required
- Current Nurse Practitioner license in the State of Ohio
- National board certification as FNP, PMHNP, AGNP, or equivalent
- Current DEA registration or ability to obtain
- Strong clinical, communication, and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
- Comfortable treating patients with mental health conditions and/or substance use disorders
Preferred
- Previous mental health / SUD experience
- Previous addiction treatment experience
- MAT experience or willingness to obtain necessary training
- Experience working in outpatient healthcare settings
Credentialing Requirements
Candidate must be willing and able to become credentialed with Medicare, Medicaid, and all major commercial insurance carriers utilized by the practice. Participation in the credentialing process is required as a condition of employment.
