Step into a day on the cylinder line
You start your shift by rolling up to neatly stacked pallets of cylinders. One by one, you check each vessel in, confirm IDs, and log the details into the cylinder tracking system. You move cylinders with a pallet jack, stage them for inspection, andfollowing clear SOPsrefurbish, paint, decant, or refill them as needed. Throughout it all, you keep a sharp eye on safety, quality, and accuracy.
What you'll do
- Receive, check in, and inspect compressed gas cylinders for quality and compliance.
- Record cylinder data with precision and enter it into the tracking system (data entry).
- Operate equipment to refurbish, paint, decant, and refill cylinders safely.
- Champion safe work practices to protect yourself and your teammates.
- Pitch in with additional plant tasks as assigned.
What you bring
- Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Strong attention to detail when receiving, inspecting, certifying, and processing incoming and outgoing cylinders.
- Comfort following standard operating procedures (SOPs) consistently.
- Capability to safely handle high-pressure and liquid cylinders.
- Experience with compressed gas and/or gas cylinders is a plus, but not required.
