Position: Bench Mechanic
Pay: $21-$23 an hour based on experience
Shift: Monday–Friday 6:30am-3:00pm with Saturday morning OT not mandatory
Location: On-site Franklin, IN

Responsibilities:
- Examine mechanical equipment for damage or wear through inspections
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to prevent failures
- Identify and repair or replace faulty components
- Assemble and disassemble machinery parts and install components as instructed
- Test repaired equipment for proper functioning and conduct serviceability testing
- Maintain accurate repair and maintenance records, including work package documentation
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and FAA regulations during maintenance procedures
- Use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
- Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints for accurate repairs
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a mechanic, with knowledge of aircraft systems and mechanical equipment inspection
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Familiarity with diagnostic and testing equipment
- Basic computer skills and adaptability to new tools and systems
- Effective communication skills and ability to work within safety and FAA standards
- Flexibility to work overtime and meet deadlines

- Mechanical repair and component replacement
