We’re Looking for a Reliable, Skilled Handyman to Join Our Team
Our property management company is seeking a dependable, experienced In-House Handyman to help maintain our residential properties and ensure our residents’ homes and common areas are kept in excellent condition.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work, has strong attention to detail, and enjoys solving problems and helping keep properties running smoothly.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform general repairs and routine maintenance throughout residential properties
- Complete work orders and respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
- Perform minor plumbing repairs, including faucets, toilets, drains, and fixtures
- Handle basic electrical tasks such as replacing light fixtures, switches, outlets, and bulbs
- Repair and adjust doors, locks, cabinets, hardware, and other household fixtures
- Perform drywall repairs, patching, caulking, touch-up painting, and other cosmetic repairs
- Install and repair shelving, blinds, hardware, and other items as needed
- Assist with property inspections and identify maintenance issues
- Help maintain common areas and property exteriors
- Keep work areas clean and safe
- Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles
- Communicate professionally with residents, property managers, vendors, and team members
- Perform other maintenance duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous handyman, maintenance, construction, or property maintenance experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of general home repairs and maintenance
- Ability to troubleshoot problems and determine appropriate solutions
- Professional, courteous, and dependable
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple work orders
- Good communication and customer-service skills
- Must have reliable transportation
- Valid driver’s license
- Valid car insurance
- Ability to lift, carry, bend, climb ladders, and perform physical maintenance tasks
- Must be comfortable working in occupied residential properties
