Diversified Sourcing Solutions is seeking a mechanically skilled Service Technician to diagnose, repair, maintain, and test industrial PET and steel strapping tools. The technician must be dependable, organized, and able to support warehouse operations as needed.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose, repair, maintain, and test batterypowered, pneumatic, and manual strapping tools
Service FROMM, Signode, Teknika, and other industrial strapping equipment
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and controlrelated issues
Perform preventive maintenance, replace worn parts, adjust components, and verify safe operation before returning equipment
Document diagnostics, repairs, parts usage, and completion dates; maintain an organized service area and parts inventory
Assist with warehouse tasks including receiving, order pulling, staging, shipping, inventory organization, and material handling
Qualifications & Requirements
Proven experience repairing and servicing industrial strapping tools and equipment
Handson experience with PET and steel strapping systems; FROMM, Signode, and Teknika strongly preferred
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to read manuals, diagrams, and basic schematics
Proficient with hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, and warehouse equipment
Detailoriented with strong organization, recordkeeping, communication, and customer service skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on equipment for extended periods
High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred
Valid driver’s license
COMPENSATION: $25
