Mid-Level Cyber Data Scientist

ACTIVE SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TS/SCI POLYGRAPH LEVEL IS REQUIRED

We are seeking a sharp, mission-focused Access Discovery Enablement Analyst to join the NESCAA TFO initiative. In this critical, hands-on role, you will leverage advanced targeting tools and analytical frameworks to identify, analyze, and enable complex access vectors. You will bring automation directly to analyst workflowscrafting custom Python scripts and building interactive Jupyter Notebooks to accelerate data discovery, streamline repeatable analysis, and extract high-value insights from mission datasets.

The annual base salary range for this role is $127,000-$150,000 (USD) , which does not include discretionary bonus compensation or our comprehensive benefits package. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things.

Access Discovery Targeting Tools: Proven proficiency and operational comfort working with XKS and DX frameworks to perform target analysis and access discovery.

Python Automation Scripting: Strong hands-on scripting skills in Python to automate routine analytical tasks, parse datasets, and build custom workflow tools.

Interactive Notebook Development: Experience creating, organizing, and executing workflows within Jupyter Notebooks to conduct data analysis and share actionable findings with mission partners.

Analytical Problem Solving: Ability to evaluate raw, multi-source intelligence data to uncover hidden patterns and operational opportunities.

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline, PLUS 2+ years of professional software engineering experience ORMaster’s Degree in a related technical field (0+ years experience required) ORHigh School Diploma / GED, PLUS 6+ years of hands-on technical software development experience in lieu of a degree.

Systems Programming: Familiarity or hands-on experience with C++ development for low-level data processing or custom analytic tooling.

NESCAA / TFO Domain Knowledge: Direct operational experience supporting Target Access Operations (TAO), Target Development, or specialized TFO mission frameworks.

Data Processing Analytics: Experience working with custom data processing pipelines and integrating automation scripts directly into broader analyst ecosystems.
